This Director of Proposal Management position is for you, if you would enjoy:

  • Focusing on end-to-end sales enablement and RFx development and responses
  • Leading proposal response processes for the organization
  • Working a hybrid schedule out of our headquarters in East Rutherford, NJ

Director of Proposal Management Key Accountabilities:
  • End-to-end oversight and management of proposals inclusive of facilitating update calls, communicating risks, coordinating input, and managing response process
  • Delivery of compliant, high-quality proposals within specific timeframes
  • Coordinate, review, and edit proposal inputs from a variety of stakeholders
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of all proposal components
  • Prepare, verify, and complete response components including narrative, forms, and legal questionnaires
  • Communicate and influence across all level within the organization
  • Coordinate the approval of any exceptions or deviations
  • Prepare a master proposal outline, schedule and checklist outlining proposal components
  • Prepare and maintain status reports and briefings for higher-level management
  • Manage post-submission activities related to bid submission including finalist presentations and requests for additional information from procurement officers

 

Director of Proposal Management Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years leading proposal development processes and driving response timelines
  • Thorough understanding of procurement processes
  • Expert-level technology user (MS Excel, Word, PPT, Teams, SharePoint and a variety of web-based platforms used for project management and collaboration)
  • Demonstrable experience with quantitate and qualitative data analysis
  • Experience maintaining knowledge management databases and materials
  • Familiarity and comfort with business terms and structures
  • Experience making decisions with directional data
  • Expert time management / prioritization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree

 

Director of Proposal Management Preferred Qualifications:

  • Airport concessions industry knowledge
  • Familiarity and comfort with high-level legal concepts and general accounting practices
  • Experience completing complex governmental questionnaires, inclusive of quantitative and qualitative data
  • Experience with quasi-governmental bid preparation
  • Master’s Degree, preferably a MBA
