This HR Representative Job Is For You, If You Would Enjoy:
- Resolving or identifying the right person to resolve general HR related questions from all employees/managers across the US and Canada and providing administrative support to the HR function at our headquarters in East Rutherford, NJ
HR Representative Key Accountabilities:
- Provides first level support for employees and management for various HR related questions
- Promptly responds to employee questions and resolves escalated issues through the SNOW ticketing system
- Advises Managers on Associate relations situations
- Responds to inbound HR Service Center inquiries via phone/email/web chat including but not limited to general inquiries, system navigation assistance, etc. with a high sense of urgency
- Educates employees seeking information/guidance on various HR related topics including pay, unemployment claims, data changes, processing HR actions, policies, and procedures.
- Provides general information to employees seeking leaves of absence (FMLA, state leaves of absence, etc.)
- Documents issues and identify appropriate actions to resolve HR related questions and escalate issues requiring in-depth HR review
- Provides proactive outbound follow-up communications as necessary
- Executes tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures, which may include data entry transactions in SAP SuccessFactors HRIS system and ADP Enterprise Payroll system (terminations, dependent updates, employment verifications, etc.)
- Digitize HR files and documentation
- Completes additional projects assigned as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
- Able to multitask, work well independently and in a team environment, able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced HR knowledge across multiple HR areas including but not limited to benefits, recruiting, employee relations, and compensation
- Previous HR experience in a similar role and/or in the retail industry
