The Restaurant Prep & Lead Cook Job Is For You, If You Would Enjoy:

• Preparing food and beverages according to operational standards
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Working at the Dallas Forth Worth International Airport - Support - Decanted - Restaurant & New Wine Bar Opening Soon. Also, we are hiring for our PLUM Market.

Your Team is counting on you as The Restaurant Prep & Lead Cook to:

• Provide open work availability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays  
• Work a full-time schedule
• Prepare menu items for Decanted - New Restaurant & Wine Bar opening soon and PLUM Market in the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport 

The Restaurant Prep & Lead Cook Job Duties:

• Must have a love of natural and organic foods.
• Experience in a kitchen setting strongly preferred.
• Able to fill in where needed to ensure service, food safety and sanitation standards.
• Able to ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition.
• Knowledgeable of proper rotation principals
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and evening.
• Stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
• Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted

Required Qualifications:

• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of personnel
• Ability to multi-task
• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associates degree or above preferred in Culinary Arts
• Two years of previous Prep & Line cook experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to lift up to 30lbs.
• Ability to interact with diverse personalities.
• Proficiency in the operation of a cash register.
• Prior food experience preferred.
