PURPOSE:

The Human Resources Business Partner owns the quality of Human Resource Operations in designated territory. Identifies, Informs and addresses areas of opportunity in employee life cycle and compliance for region while ensuring the employee experience is consistent with Hudson HR Strategy and Plans.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ownership of all aspects of the employee life cycle in partnership with various HR streams.
  • Works closely with operations management and associates to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
  • Promotes diversity awareness in hiring practices by partnering with NASC Talent Management Team to fill open positions.
  • Proactive coaching and development of managers and associates on employee engagement, morale, and best practices for operational excellence.
  • Assists with  investigative inquiries and Labor Relations issues as needed
  • Informs company of HR plans as point person for strategy and planning for assigned territory.
  • Ownership, implementation and monitoring of HR initiatives including but not limited to Open Enrollment, Performance Management and training programs to ensure success.
  • Implements consistent administration of all human resources policies, procedures and practices in the field and provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Analyzes period end reports
  • Airport and community event coordination
  • Conducts HR Audits for compliance and safety purposes within assigned region.
  • Key role in formulating, implementing, and providing feedback on HR strategies for assigned locations.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years of prior HR experience in a similar role
  • Able to multitask, work well independently and in a team environment, able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

Desirable: 

  • Advanced HR knowledge across multiple HR areas including but not limited to benefits, recruiting, employee relations, and compensation. Experience in a stressful operations focused environment, Change Management and influencing through resistance a plus.
