The Assistant Lease Audit Manager is responsible for accurately recording the lease accounting for Hudson’s real estate portfolio in accordance with IASB, GAAP and Dufry policies.


Coordinating with external auditors to ensure our 150 plus audits per year are issued on time an in compliance with our leases
Streamline lease accounting audits and work with the auditors/landlords for scheduling
Coordinate with Lease Team for corrections/changes in lease computations and lease reports
Liaise with other financial teams for the audit requirements
Review rent schedules and other accounting schedules required by the auditors
Review lease agreements and work with Lease Administrator for questions on lease agreements
Perform various control activities and work with internal auditors to ensure SOX compliance
Responsible to oversee 1 staff accountant
Identify opportunities for process improvements
Ad hoc requests and projects as necessary


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritizing work load, complete day to day activities and handle all urgent requests
  • Ability to interact positively and effectively with store operations, VPs, Regional Managers and landlords and subtenants
  • Self-starter with excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Exposure to lease computations


  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Accounting
  • 3-5 years of related accounting experience. 
  • Knowledge of Great Plains, SAP or any other ERP system. 
  • General Accounting Experience. 
  • Very strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formula manipulation and ability to troubleshoot.
  • Knowledge of AMTdirect software or any lease administration/accounting system a plus
