The Ecommerce Manager position is for you, if you would enjoy:

  • Being responsible for the execution of digital marketing campaigns including the development and execution of regional promotions to generate traffic and sales
  • Enhancing our eCommerce websites to meet all KPIs including the enrichment and optimization of local product descriptions, and to strategically grow eCommerce in the US and Canada
  • Working closely with the VP, Digital Marketing to develop strategies that will contribute to generate traffic and online sales

Ecommerce Manager Key Accountabilities:

  • Work with the VP, Digital Marketing and Global teams to implement vision, roadmaps, and program backlog of the local eCommerce strategy
  • Manage and grow the Reserve & Collect pre-order service offered to our travelers
  • Strategically grow eCommerce ahead of the market in specific location
  • Work with local operations to determine how to provide Reserve & Collect service effectively at Airport locations
  • Financial Analysis and Delivering against KPIs; review KPIs daily/weekly and report back to region on results/learnings/tactics to improve
  • Identify and coordinate local promotions and launch of new products within the eCommerce area
  • Strategic Marketing; liaise between region category managers and global digital team to develop tactics to drive conversion; liaise with region marketing to align with global in-store campaigns
  • Tailor portfolio of opportunities in eCommerce to local market to make it a platform for growth – including through partnerships with brands and communication initiatives
  • Communication/Presentation; work with external (i.e. airport) partners to develop campaigns to drive traffic
  • Work with global Product Owners and Product Managers to implement the local digital strategy to improve traffic acquisition, sales and conversion of the eCommerce site (incl A/B testing)
  • Commercial Mindset/Marketing Analysis; evaluate best sellers/most searched items/brands to determine which items to highlight on landing pages, will work as the liaison between global team and local category managers to develop content
  • Enrich and optimize product local descriptions in digital channels
  • Optimize end-to-end region-specific customer journeys by devising new solutions, services, products, or propositions
  • Identify and implement new opportunities throughout the customer journey to deliver high performing, agile customer interactions, and touchpoints
  • Technical Communication; liaise with IT (local/global, SAP and Global Digital IT) to identify ongoing technical issues with the site and process and follow up to resolution

  

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in an eCommerce marketing role in retail
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, Google Analytics, Magento and SAP required
  • Proven knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the retail and/ or travel industry (with a strong focus on eCommerce)
  • Strong background in digital marketing principles such as funnel optimization UX, SEO & Landing Page optimization & experience in running A/B tests for campaigns and deriving customer insights
  • Deep understanding in all the commercial levers to drive performance (range, price, experience, marketing)
  • Experience developing and executing a calendar of promotions designed to meet KPIs
  • Demonstrable experience coordinating marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Display expertise in customer journey management, digital and communications
  • Experience in working with UX/UI designers to define customer experiences
  • Strong tech background
  • Commercial yet customer-first mindset with the ability to identify customer needs
  • Be based out of our East Rutherford, New Jersey: Toronto: or Vancouver location

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Pre-order eCommerce services
  • Beauty or Liquor industry experience a plus.
  • Experience working on an eCommerce operation with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Understanding of the dynamics of the US and Canadian markets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
