The Inventory Business Analyst is responsible for developing data and analytics solutions. Act as a bridge between business systems from the end user to functional implementation of technical solutions.
§Support Finance group with updating financial systems and processes.
§Participate in major cross-functional software implementation efforts such as transition to SAP R3.
§Help facilitate financial system integration with other systems.
§Identify, analyze, automate and design processes.
§Identify opportunities of value additions and process improvement.
§Apply advanced organizational skills and maintain several databases and spreadsheets related to inventory management.
§Monitor inventory levels and resolve inventory discrepancies.
§Research sales and monitor incoming and outgoing products.
§Interact with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to resolve issues.
§Develop superior strategies for gathering, documenting and reviewing business requirements.
§Solve business problem and design technical solutions.
§Help test the systems and create user manuals. Including and not limited to help with UAT test scripts and system documentation.
§Understand methods for dealing with change requirements and their impact on testing.
§Assist with monthly close.
§Abide by department policies and procedures, including SOX controls.
§Assist with ad hoc requests and other projects as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
-Strong communication skills, smooth facilitator, precise analyzer and a team player.
-SAP and MS Access experience, required
-Excellent organizational skills.
-Inventory Business Analyst experience in a retail environment a plus
-Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
-Minimum Bachelors degree preferred.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in math, computer science or accounting/finance. Professional experience in analytics, business analysis or comparable consumer analytics position. Proficiency in SAP Ecc6.0 in WMS and FI. Experience using Excel and Access (Complex Access Queries) to build, process, filter and present complex and large volume of data (100K to millions of rows).
Desirable: Retail or consumer products experience.
