The Compensation Manager position is for you, if you would enjoy:

  • Analyzing market data, reviewing job documentations, enabling management to make informed pay and promotion decisions
  • Designing and implementing pay bands and leading audit efforts of data for consistency with exempt and non-exempt job categorization and pay structures
  • Being based out of our East Rutherford, New Jersey office, with a hybrid work-model

Key Accountabilities - your team is counting on you as a Compensation Manager to:

  • Serve as a compensation subject matter expert and trusted partner to HR teammates, Recruiters, HR Business Partners and other business leaders
  • Modeling, analysis and costing of base, incentive and total compensation for guidance in impactful distribution of rewards
  • Conduct job evaluations, FLSA assessments, and departmental compensation reviews
  • Provide ongoing job benchmarking, compensation survey assessment and analysis, and competitive market intelligence and insight to HR and Business Leaders
  • Analyze market data, review job documentation, enabling management to make informed pay and promotion decisions
  • Design and implement incentive and other variable pay programs aligned to the competitive market and Hudson’s operational business strategies
  • Design and implement pay bands, and lead audit efforts of data for consistency with exempt and non exempt job categorization and pay structures
  • Partner with Finance, operations and HR teams to assist in the development of annual compensation budgets
  • Partner with HR compliance manager to review and analyze government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plans
  • Partner with labor relations team to review collective bargaining agreements for union wage rates and ensure compensation compliance
  • Analyze and prepare data extracts and reports for HR, Line Managers, and Business Leaders as needed


Compensation Manager Required Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in the field of compensation management.
  • Functional working knowledge of Success Factors (or a similar HCM system)
  • Good excel and data analysis skills
