This POS Tech Lead position is for you, if you would enjoy:

  • Being responsible for all Store Systems support needs
  • Leading phone, email, and SNOW ticket support for application/software issues, troubleshooting, and installation support of hardware and software
  • Handling and organizing internal testing and troubleshooting of bug fixes, enhancements, and new program launches
  • Working out of our headquarters in East Rutherford, NJ

 

POS Tech Lead Key Accountabilities:

  • Systems implementation – working closely with operations to assist in implementing new technologies that will enhance the customer and associate experience
  • Cross functional collaboration – work with counterparts in IT in regards to necessary systems integrations, infrastructure, and network
  • Help with the L&D of new technology programs being released to operations
  • Uses analytical skills to analyze problems and adjust system as needed
  • Aids in identifying and evaluating new and leading store and digital technology
  • Production support – act as a 3rd level support the NOC for all system related issues
  • Technical resource to aid in the support of all Duty Paid and Duty Free system enhancements
  • Own and run projects in a PM capacity
  • Update and process XML’s for system maintenance
  • Basic understanding of creating and processing SQL query and reading results
  • Own lab setup and maintenance. This includes configuring hardware and software
  • QA support both remotely and on-site at NASC - execute and document functional, regression, integration, and performance test cases; report and track issues found during the QA lifecycle through final resolution
  • Participate in Store Systems integration for new/remodeled stores
  • Provide technical support to the field operations team

 

POS Tech Lead Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with mobile POS including wireless printers and credit processing units as well as stationary registers
  • Must be highly organized and able to multi-task
  • Possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization from a store associate up through C-level management both verbally and written
  • 3+ years’ experience in retail store systems


POS Tech Lead Physical Qualifications:

  • Physically and frequently work out of NASC
  • Require long days, overnight support on projects, and after-hour and weekend support including holidays
  • Ability to travel to stores/locations on an as needed basis
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs

 

POS Tech Lead Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Flooid POS and/or TP.net
